I absolutely hate looking at my bank account after I pay bills. It's always painful. It was even more painful today because I have additional unexpected expenses to consider: replacing my flat tires. Earlier this week I was driving out of my driveway and onto the street and heard a weird noise coming from my car. Lo and behold, it was a flat tire. My car has given me plenty of warning signs lately: the maintenance/air pressure light going on every few weeks, the sticker on my window reminding me it's time to take my car into the shop. My car had been due for its annual checkup this month but I had been putting it off because I didn't want to use my paycheck on repairs/maintenance. But life sure knows how to pull a fast one on you.
